I already own two Little Giant ladders - one of them the step ladder. It is light enough for my wife to carry around, sturdy enough for my 230lbs, and easy to move around inside the house. I bought this to replace my wooden ladder that wobbles all over. Use it to wash my pick up and no problem now. Very sturdy and really light weight. Need to add a device to keep closed. Really a nice ladder Review by Ray
I ordered the Model 6 and had no idea it was that tall. However, that was a nice surprise and it will now replace my heavy duty step ladder that I use in the garage and house. After seeing this Model, I decided to get the Model 5 too - so I can use that one to get in and out of the back of the Pick-up truck (while storing it in there). The nice thing about these ladders is their light weight and sturdy stand. It would be nice if they had some type of a hooking device to keep it locked when folded - but that's something that can be taken care of by using a bungy cord like the other gentleman stated in his review. Supper light yet strong ladder. Easy to carry and set-up. I'm a big guy (250 plus) and it feels very steady on the upper step. I added a bungy cord to keep it closed when carrying. Great for 10 foot ceilings in changing light bulbs and dusting the fan blades. (Posted on 9/6/10)Value
